"I admire your evolution throughout "Waiting" Kerriann! Especially since the New Year, the Series is really hitting it's stride.
What sets you apart is that your work is so emotionally diverse. You have the unique ability to capture nature's ambiance ("If morning were a person..."/"Tides"), the interpersonal coy emotional 'chess-game' ("The Line"/"1 pm Reverie"/"Give and Take"), and you even masterfully comment on the process of poetic artistry and spell out the aspiration of the artist for how he/she hopes the reader experiences their work ("If this were an Album...").
Your most recent work ("One is the Loneliest Number...") is again a departure in style and tone; this time speaking to the feelings of the nighttime dreame,r drowning, yet also thriving, in the pit of his/her own reclusive loneliness.
Your work is brilliant Kerriann in it's unpredictability and ever-changing topical and emotional nature, and you hit every diverse feeling flawlessly with your gift of word arrangement and metaphors. Truly a special Series and talent. Awesome work. Keep going!
Best Always,
John :-)"

"I had seen you wish-listed my series and commented on a friend of mine's work so on a hunch I subscribed to you and got a few deep into this series. Needless to say after a few pieces read I knew I had to do (and wanted to do!) some reading work to catch up on the series to get current! Like I said I'm only a small handful in so far but I will definitely continue; after all, all I needed to do was get as far in as to read the line: "Create a safe distance and you become distance itself". Brilliant stuff."

"I think it to be rare to read a series of poetry where the series actually lives up to the word "series". I definitely feel a narrative forming week-to-week, poem-to-poem, and believe me that is a difficult feeling to instill in a reader. It seems to me that each installment acts as a chapter driving a narrative to an end I cannot quite yet forsee. You've got me "WAITING"!!!
Also as Mr. Flore here has suggested your poetry is rife with emotion, but it's almost like a passive aggressive emotion. The "anxious energy" he speaks of is so true, but its more than just in the lines... It's in ME too!
Great Work Kerri..."

"I had been looking for something to subscribe to and I was not disappointed with your Series. From the onset of "The Girl" I knew I was reading something special. I felt as though I had been given access to some secret club; some intel I shouldn't be seeing; the inner most processes of another person's mind. A brutal angst, that if not articulated so precisely and matter-of-factly in your sort of Poetic "Prose", one could take your work at face value as "forced" or "artsy". This is not what I came to understand. I see "The Girl" dwelling deep within the murkiness of the darkest realms of your psyche so deeply ensnared by depression that she doubts her existence; proclaiming she is some kind of far-off figment outside of reality. The reality is grim; a struggle between that girl deep down below in "The Fight Back", fully aware of the magnitude of her emotions and her unfortunate fate of a "Disgruntled Reality" leading up to a "Simple Death"; in a constant struggle to articulate herself to others outside of the words on the page who cannot comprehend her angst ("Disconnected Recount"). I feel it all heading somewhere and I cannot wait to see where and how so. Your stark prose has paved a sort of poetic narrative within the Series steam-rolling it's way to some kind of revelation or major proclamation. Excellent work here C.A.! I'm glad to have found your Series, if only because of a whim. Try to be well and keep digging..."
